I read that in a MS book. My point is, if you are the type to strive for perfection, how can you let anything slip by as merely excellent? Isn't it, by definition (in your eyes), clearly lacking if it anything short of perfect? Aren't the two therefor mutually exclusive?
All this because of yet another hobby of mine. As the scales go up, the cake baking goes down. This month has seen a resurgence of the late 80s hobby: miniature painting. But I'm driving myself nuts. Hubby thinks these are fabulous. I argue that they are sloppy. Granted, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but I will open it up to the floor for judgement.
Clearly, I am not designed for lazy vacations.
